MESA Electronic GmbH was founded in 1973 as a pioneer in the measurement, control and automation of heat treatment gas processes. According to that it has made her name and logo.
MESA in German stands for „Messung, Steuerung und Automatisierung“. Former owner Mr. Hans Sturm had a vision that every process in gas heat treatment needs to have proper control on a highest level and therefore he started to innovate, develop and establish new devices for all kind of processes such as Carburizing and Carbonitriding, Nitriding and Nitrocarburizing, Dew point control in endogas generator, rest O2 measurement, etc…

Mr. Hans Sturm has founded two more MESA like companies in a north part of Germany but he was the founder and shareholder of these companies for just a few years and he has transferred his shares to other founders since they have repeatedly appeared on the market as competitors. Short story behind these “other” MESA like companies:
MESA Electronic GmbH is the first and real only original MESA and it has been around for over 50 years.
In the meantime Mr. Hans Sturm was getting older and he wanted to pass his vision to some other persons or a company who would like to continue his passion and work. In 2005 he has sold his company and since then new era of MESA Electronic GmbH has begun.
New proud owners are Dr. Dzo Mikulovic Doctor of Physics, Mr. Florian Ehmeier, Dipl.-Ing. (FH) and Mr. Milomir Mikulovic Dipl.-Wirtschaftsing.(FH). Since then, in line with industry standards and innovations, each of our products has been renewed and upgraded. To provide additional space, a second laboratory and additional testing facilities, we have moved into our new premises in Bad Feilnbach.
In 21st century MESA Electronic GmbH started developing and innovating its devices and solutions according to CQI9 standards, following the predictive maintenance (industry 4) and IOT solutions in heat treatment industry as well in some other process solutions like in a semiconductor, aluminum and combustion industry. Also we were and are involved in a different type of R&D projects related to new advanced measurement systems within the fields of automotive, airplane and space industry
Today, MESA Electronic GmbH is specialized in developing innovative software and hardware solutions in the field of measurement technology, control systems and process technologies, gas analysis, process engineering and infrared measurement technology. In addition, it carries out customer-specific orders, particularly in the area of measurement and control technology, as well as gas analysis for heat treatment, especially for carburizing, nitriding, dew point and oxygen control.
